Winter Ross, BFA, EMT, CPSW
Winter Ross is convinced that the creative mind has the power to heal individuals and the world. Although no longer in private practice, she offers workshops in a broad range of subjects connected with mental health, arts, and shamanism. She is available to retreat organizers and others in the Healing Hearts Collective. Course descriptions may be found on her website, ceremonialvisions.com
Winter holds a degree in Communications Design from Rhode Island School of Design, with graduate studies in Art Therapy and certifications as an EMT, Street Medic, and Mental Health Support Specialist. Her interest in psychosomatic illness, medical intuition, and the spiritual emergencies she encountered as a medic led to the study and practice of Core Shamanism (Foundation for Shamanic Studies at Esalen).
With awards from the National and the New Mexico associations of Press Women, her writing appears in Spirituality & Health magazine; The Journal for Shamanic Practice; Sacred Hoop magazine; anthologies and literary journals, including The Best of the Northwind Writing Awards and Pilgrimage: Story, Spirit, Witness, Place.
