Martha Christine Shepp

Martha Shepp started out life as a dancer, then artist, then musician. In all these expressive arts, healing occurred. She needed to know what was going on behind the scenes so began esoteric studies in earnest in her 30s, parallel with her own healing from childhood trauma. She completed coursework in Healing Touch and Reiki but stopped short of opening a practice. A year or so later a friend introduced her to Sukyo Mahikari, or "sharing light among friends," where she experienced the light energy as profound compared with other modalities she had studied. She has been a practitioner of transmitting Light since 2001 and has seen many turnarounds in recipients' inner attitudes toward positivity that then allows them to initiate changes in their lives toward wholeness and unconditional acceptance for others, themselves, and world conditions. In Japanese, light brings about "ken, wa, fu" or happiness, health, and prosperity.
