Catherine Nogas Steinberg

Catherine Nogas Steinberg, MA, LMFT, earned a B.A. degree from Mount Holyoke College and a M.A. degree from the University of Connecticut. She has over forty years of psychotherapy experience with individuals, couples, families and groups in Guilford, CT.

Catherine is also a shamanic practitioner, artist, author, and workshop/retreat facilitator in CT and NM. A central theme in her work is empowering people to become who they truly want to be.

On Catherine's forty-fifth birthday, she was given her spiritual name, Rubybear. She was told to live out the second half of her life discovering the essence of Rubybear. What she has learned is that Rubybear walks a path of following her heart-truth, and, helps others discover this path as well.

Catherine, a.k.a Rubybear, is nourished by adventure and travel to sacred sites and natural places of beauty.
