About the event
Angela Eastman will be teaching how to weave two distinct styles of baskets: a rib or frame basket (common example is an egg basket) and a stake and strand basket, using wild vine material she has harvested and prepared. In addition, we will be going on hikes to harvest wild willow at a neighboring ranch to incorporate into our baskets.
Accommodation is camping, and everyone will be bringing food to share and we will be cooking together in an outdoor kitchen. There are outdoor showers, sinks and composting toilets
A complete list of what to bring will be sent prior to the workshop. If flying, transportation from Santa Fe can be arranged.
